Billionaire archery enthusiast Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) returns for another season in Starling City. Arrow's second season expands the cast of characters and has some welcome surprises. The action is intense and provides a solid show for comic book fans since Smallville ended a couple years ago. 8/10
Arrow: The Complete Second Season arrives on Blu-ray with a 1080p transfer in the aspect ratio of 1.78:1 - Color saturation was excellent and some bolder primaries pop off the screen. Skintones appeared natural. Black levels were rich and exhibit great shadow delineation. Overall clarity is pleasing to they eyes and fine details such as pores in faces and clothing textures are easily distinguishable. 9/10
Audio is provided by a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 track. - Dialogue is consistently crisp and clear. Surrounds feature smooth pans and cool directional effects. LFE performance adds some nice depth to the music and provides some deep and powerful bass for the more action focused scenes. 9/10
