**SYNOPSIS**


In Sesame Street: Elmo the Musical Volume 2: Imagine and Learn, kids will sing, dance, play and imagine along with Elmo on math-filled adventures! They’ll join Elmo as he becomes a cowboy in his musical “The Count-by-Two Kid,” and escorts six kitty-cows through a canyon to the Double Double Dude Dude Ranch Ranch. Next, they’ll don a detective hat with Elmo to help investigate the secret behind all the sneezing. An extension of Sesame Street’s STEAM curriculum (science, technology, engineering, arts and math), each episode is an interactive, fun-filled musical adventure created by Elmo and the child at home. Focusing on imagination and math skills, such as enumeration, relational concepts, addition/subtraction, geometric shapes and many more, Elmo takes viewers on thrilling explorations as he imagines himself in many adventures. This DVD also includes bonus full-length video of Play With Me Sesame: Imagine With Me, which focuses on imagination and interactive learning.





**SERIES REVIEW**


This latest Elmo collection includes seven episodes that feature musical numbers performed by the cute a fuzzy red star. Little ones will be enchanted and fixed to the screen and singing along with Elmo to the catchy tunes that also try to smartly add in some lessons. 9/10


**VIDEO QUALITY**


Elmo The Musical Vol. 2 arrives on DVD with a 480 transfer in the aspect ratio of 1.78:1 - Colors are bright and cheerful with well balanced saturation. Black levels are consistent and solid. Elmo's fur texture is easily distinguishable and fine detail overall was good. 8.5/10


**AUDIO QUALITY**


Audio is provided by a Dolby Digital 2.0 track. - Elmo has an endearing squeaky, mischievious voice and it is presented crisp and clear. The musical numbers have good stereo separation and fidelity. 7.5/10

**MOVIE REVIEW**


Goodfellas is Scorsese at his best. Taking the gangster film to a new level by showing the workaday routine as told by real life gangster Henry Hill. Ray Liotta portrays Hill in the film and he is electric. Robert De Niro and Joe Pesci give iconic performances while making it look effortless. Lorraine Brocco is a strong female lead. Goddfellas was and will remain undeniably watchable and a masterpiece until the end of time. 10/10


**VIDEO QUALITY**


Goodfellas: 25th Anniversary arrives on Blu-ray with a 1080p transfer in the aspect ratio of 1.78:1 - Goodfellas celebrates it's 25th year with a newly remastered transfer that was overseen by Scorsese and taken from a 4k scan of the original negative. The result is a filmic and fan pleasing presentation. Colors have been digitally altered and I think it will be up to the viewer if they like the change or not. Colors are deeply saturated and pop with a cherry red corvette, vivid purple Christmas tree ornaments and the ocean blue eyes of Liotta. Black levels were inky. There is a fine, natural layer of film grain throughout. There is no visible damage and the image is sharp. Fine details in the various suits, restaurants and close ups are excellent. Goodfellas has never looked better and this transfer alone makes the 25th Anniversary edition worth the purchase. 9.5/10


**AUDIO QUALITY**


Audio is provided by a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 track. - Dialogue and narration is centered in the mix and was crystal clear and intelligible even when voices are shouting or competing to be heard. The masterfully chosen music from the era to match a particular mood or scene sounds brilliant and is perfectly balanced in the mix. Dynamics and fidelity is solid. LFE performance kicks in for an explosion and adds some weight to gunshots and the music. No pops or hissing to report. 8.5/10

* Scorsese's Goodfellas (HD, 29min54sec) - Includes insight from Martin Scorsese, Leonardo Dicaprio, Terrence Winter, Harvey Keitel, Robert De Niro, Lorraine Bracco, Ray Liotta, Nicholas Pileggi, Irwin Winkler and Thelma Schoonmaker. A good retrospective documentary. We learn that Joe Pesci made up the "I make you laugh" scene and it was based on him seeing something similar in real life, he improvised it all on set. Scorsese says he tied Liotta's tie every single day because he had to have it look a specific way. Warner Bros. was against the spider sequence but they were finally convinced that the scene has to stay in to show that these were criminals and not good guys.
