AMANDA KNOX: MURDER ON TRIAL IN ITALY poses the question of whether Knox (Panettiere), the Seattle honors student accused of murdering her college roommate Meredith Kercher (Amanda Fernando Stevens) in 2007 with her boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito (Paolo Romio) and acquaintance Rudy Guede (Djirbi Kebe), actually committed the crime or was herself a victim.

Amanda Knox arrives on DVD with a 480i transfer in the original aspect ratio of 1.78:1. A pleasing and colorful image exhibits bold greens , rich browns, and natural fleshtones. Detail was solid throughout. I didn't notice any inherent edge enhancement or image anomalies. A solid presentation overall. 8/10

Audio is provided by a Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo track. A crisp and clean track with prefect dialogue reproduction. Stereo separation was good with music and sound effects. 7/10

***MOVIE REVIEW***

Let's be honest. A 32 year old American male is not the demographic for this type of production. I will say that is was nice to see the real story unfold this past summer but felt it was way overhyped considering all the real problems going on in the world around us on a daily basis. That being said I did watch this with my younger cousin and she absolutely loved this somewhat soapy dramatization of the union between Prince William and Kate Middleton. It has decent production values and a pretty good cast so if you have a little princess in your life who one day dreams a real life prince will sweep her off her feet than this will make her swoon. 7/10

William & Kate arrives on DVD with a 480p transfer in the original aspect ratio of 1.78:1. Being a modern made for television film we get a very pleasing visual presentation. From the well manicured landscaping of the royals to all the sweaters and fashionable dresses that show fine detail this is a nice image all around. Colors are well rendered and black levels were rock solid. 8/10

Audio is provided by a Dolby Digital 2.0 track. Being a modern 2 channel track we are treated to crisp and clear dialogue and full bodied music cues. The audio mix isn't anything special but it does a competent job telling the story. 7/10
