The Marine 4: Moving Target on Blu-ray and DVD April 21st

Fox Home Entertainment has officially announced they will release The Marine 4: Moving Target to Blu-ray and DVD on April 21, 2015. The film stars WWE Superstar Mike "The Miz" Mizannin and WWE Diva Summer Rae. The Blu-ray specs are set to be 1080p video in the 1.78:1 aspect ratio and a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 track for audio. **SYNOPSIS**


WWE Superstar Mike “The Miz” Mizanin is back as American hero Jake Carter in an all-new thrill-packed Marine adventure. Now in the private sector, Carter is assigned to protect a “high-value package” – a beautiful whistleblower trying to expose a corrupt military defense contractor. But a heavily armed team of mercenaries has been hired to kill her, along with anyone who gets in their way, and it’s going to take a fearless one-man fighting machine to stop them. Co-starring WWE Diva Summer Rae in her feature film debut, THE MARINE 4: MOVING TARGET is locked and loaded with explosive action from start to finish.

Both the Blu-ray and DVD include featurettes that take audiences behind-the-scenes of THE MARINE 4: MOVING TARGET and also offer a retrospective on the entire film franchise. “Firepower” focuses on the film’s intense gun battles to give fans a first-hand look at what goes into the making of these films. “The Franchise” retraces all of The Marine films with interviews and footage featuring the stars and key action scenes. Lastly, “Beauty is Dangerous” places focus on the ladies of THE MARINE 4: MOVING TARGET and how they can look so good while taking care of business!

**SYNOPSIS**


Last season, Walt Longmire (Robert Taylor) and his deputies each braved a storm and did it nobly. But for every storm, there is an aftermath. **SERIES REVIEW**


The third season of Longmire originally aired on A&E. The season was the best one yet for the modern western law show. Unfortunately A&E decided to pull the plug on the show but it has now been given new life with a pickup of a fourth and final season set to premiere on Netflix. The cast are so well worn into their roles that by this season they feel like real people and not just a character on a tv show. I would recommend checking out this excellent series. 9/10


**VIDEO QUALITY**


Longmire: The Complete Third Season arrives on DVD with a 480i transfer in the aspect ratio of 1.78:1 - The show looks fantastic on these quality transfers for the ten episodes this season. Colors vary from earth tones to flashes of bright and bold hues that pop. Flesh tones look natural. Black levels were quite deep and inky. Contrast in outdoor scenes remained well balanced. The overall image is clear and shows some nice fine details in close ups and clothing. No signs of compression artifacts.9/10


**AUDIO QUALITY**


Audio is provided by a Dolby Digital 5.1 track. - Dialogue was crisp and clear. Surrounds use environmental and directional effects to help with immersion. The LFE channel adds solid bass to gunshots and music cues. No problems to speak of. 8/10

**SYNOPSIS**

Beyond the Lights arrives on Blu-ray with a 1080p transfer in the aspect ratio of 1.78:1 - Colors and skin tones appeared natural throughout, while a few more bold colors pop off the screen. Black levels were good but not super deep. Overall image clarity is excellent and fine details on close ups and textures were clearly visible. No signs of compression artifacts to speak of. The transfer is a solid performer. 8.5/10


**AUDIO QUALITY**


Audio is provided by a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 track. - The soapy dialogue is placed front and center, clear and always intelligible. The music which is the star of this mix is aggressive with a nice sense of immersion. LFE performance was a standout with deep, precise bass that adds significant heft to the score. No annoying pops or hisses heard through the movie's near two hour running time. 8.5/10
