Dario Argento's Tenebrae Blu-ray September 13th

Synapse Films and CAV has officially announced they will release Dario Argento's Tenebrae to Blu-ray and DVD on September 13, 2016. The Blu-ray specs are set to be 1080p video in the 1.85:1 aspect ratio and a DTS-HD Master Audio 2.0 track for audio. Below are the official details:





**SYNOPSIS**


American mystery author Peter Neal (Anthony Franciosa) comes to Italy to promote his newest novel, TENEBRAE. Unfortunately, a razor-wielding serial killer is on the loose, taunting Neal and murdering those around him in gruesome fashion just like the character in his novel. As the mystery surrounding the killings spirals out of control, Neal investigates the crimes on his own, leading to a mind-bending, genre-twisting conclusion that will leave you breathless! Featuring an amazing synth-music score from Claudio Simonetti, Fabio Pignatelli and Massimo Morante (formerly of Italian progressive-rock band, Goblin), this all-new 1080p high-definition TENEBRAE release was created from the original uncut camera negative. Sesame Street: Elmo's Favorite Stories DVD Review

**SYNOPSIS**


Sesame Street: Elmo’s Favorite Stories is a compilation of engaging and educational stories for preschool children. In one story, a disagreement arises between Big Bird and Elmo as they are about to act out one of Elmo’s favorite stories, “Maria the Cowgirl.” In another story Abby recalls that green creatures are often princes in disguise! Abby soon concludes that Oscar could be a frog—he is green isn’t he?—and therefore is also an enchanted prince! She thinks that a kiss is the only way to break the spell and turn Oscar back into Prince Oscar. Children will learn early reading skills such as letter recognition, letter sounds, and story structure (beginning/middle/end) as the Sesame friends use their imaginations to make up and act out all kinds of stories.





**SERIES REVIEW**


The latest in the Sesame Street DVD collection continues the tradition of informative and entertaining moments primarily lead by the cute Elmo. During these long Summer heat waves put the a/c on and let the little ones let Elmo transport them to a different place. 9/10


**VIDEO QUALITY**


Colors are nicely saturated with greens, blues, reds and Big Bird yellow. Contrast was balanced. The overall image detail was good. Some minor noise in shots but not a nuisance. 8/10


**AUDIO QUALITY**


Audio is provided by a Dolby Digital 2.0 track. - Elmo, Big Bird and all these adorable characters voices were crisp and clear. Stereo separation was good for this presentation. 8/10
