Magic Mike XXL Blu-ray October 6th






Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has officially announced they will be releasing Magic Mike XXL to Blu-ray Combo Pack and DVD on October 6, 2015. The Blu-ray will feature 1080p video and a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 track. Below are the official details:





Burbank, CA, August 19, 2015 – Feel the magic and make it rain when “Magic Mike XXL” arrives onto Blu-ray Combo Pack and DVD on October 6 from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment. Emmy® Award winner Gregory Jacobs (“Behind the Candelabra”) directed “Magic Mike XXL,” which reunites Channing Tatum, Matt Bomer, Joe Manganiello, Kevin Nash, Adam Rodriguez and Gabriel Iglesias – the stars of the 2012 worldwide hit “Magic Mike.”

Joining the returning cast, in brand new roles, are Amber Heard (“The Rum Diary”), Donald Glover (TV’s “Community”), Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss (“Step Up Revolution”) and Michael Strahan (TV’s “Live with Kelly and Michael”), with Andie MacDowell (“Footloose”), Elizabeth Banks (“The Hunger Games” franchise) and Jada Pinkett Smith (TV’s “Gotham”).

“Magic Mike XXL” is directed by Gregory Jacobs who served as a producer on “Magic Mike” as well as numerous other features in a long-running collaboration with Steven Soderbergh. The film is produced by Nick Wechsler, Gregory Jacobs, Channing Tatum and Reid Carolin, with a screenplay by Carolin. Steven Soderbergh, who directed the first film, served as executive producer.

Magic Mike XXL Arrives onto Blu-ray Combo Pack and DVD on October 6 or Own It Early on Digital HD on September 22.


**SYNOPSIS**



Picking up the story three years after Mike (played by Channing Tatum) bowed out of the stripper life at the top of his game, “Magic Mike XXL” finds the remaining Kings of Tampa likewise ready to throw in the towel. But they want to do it their way: burning down the house in one last blow-out performance in Myrtle Beach, and with legendary headliner Magic Mike sharing the spotlight with them.

On the road to their final show, with whistle stops in Jacksonville and Savannah to renew old acquaintances and make new friends, Mike and the guys learn some new moves and shake off the past in surprising ways.

Teen Titans Go!: House Pests Season 2 Part 2 DVD Review






**SYNOPSIS**

**SERIES REVIEW**



Part two of the second season continues the fun and remained engaging over the two discs. The episodes continue to pack a good amount of humor and don't overstay their welcome. DC fans will be happy to add this to their collection. 8/10

Teen Titans Go!: House Pests Season 2 Part 2 arrives on DVD with a 480 transfer in the aspect ratio of 1.78:1 - The show is bright and colorful and the transfers here show it off in style. Colors pop. Black levels and lines were rich and inky. The overall image was quite sharp. No major issues with compression artifacts.8.5/10


**AUDIO QUALITY**



Audio is provided by a Dolby Digital 2.0 track. - The voice acting and dialogue was crisp and crystal clear throughout. Stereo separation was good. No pops, cracks or hissing noticed. 7.5/10

Mike & Molly: The Complete Fifth Season DVD Review






**SYNOPSIS**

Audio is provided by a Dolby Digital 5.1 track. - Dialogue was crisp and clean throughout the episodes. The series is filmed before a studio audience and the tracks perform as they should and exhibit with no nagging signs of anomalies such as pops or cracks.7.5/10

**SYNOPSIS**

Colors feature bold primaries and perfect saturation. Black levels were rich, deep and inky. I did notice some issues with banding. 9/10


**AUDIO QUALITY**



Audio is provided by a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 track. - Dialogue came through super crisp and crystal clear and the voice work is stellar from top to bottom. LFE performance provides some thunderous bass adds great heft to punches and kicks. Surround channels were used effectively to convey a sense of environment. Fidelity an dynamics were were excellent.9/10
