This latest collaboration between WWE and Scooby-Doo! is a hoot for the whole family with broad appeal. Fans of WWE will be happy to see some of their favorite Superstars in animation form accompanied by good voice acting. Of course Scooby-Doo! is as endearing as ever and the action is fast paced enough to keep the viewers attention with a 81 minute running time. With the dog days of summer almost over pick this one up, turn on the a/c and relax with the family or leave it on for just the kids. 8/10
Curse of the Speed Demon arrives on Blu-ray with a 1080p transfer in the aspect ratio of 1.78:1 - Colors are vibrant with bright reds, greens and blues looking the best. Black levels were deep and also contribute to to crisp animation lines. The animation style looks fluid and the image was crystal clear. There are minor issues with banding but the casual viewer I suspect will not notice. 9/10
Audio is provided by a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 track. - Scooby-Doo! and the WWE Superstars all came across crystal clear in dialogue reproduction. Surrounds are used to fine effect to create a sense atmosphere. Bass performance was at it's best when there was vehicular mayhem. No pops , cracks or hisses were heard. 8.5/10
* Two Bonus Episodes(SD, 45min) - While it's nice to see two vintage Scooby-Doo! episodes, it's disappointing that they are not presented in HD and given the treatment they deserve.
