Universal Studios Home Entertainment has announced their plans to release the Peter Jackson directed film The Frighteners: 15th Anniversary Edition on Blu-ray September 13, 2011. The film stars Michael J. Fox. This release will contain both the theatrical cut and the "Director's Cut" that includes 23 more minutes of footage. A DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 track will be shore to scare up some fun. So far it seems that the extra features will be ported from the 10th Anniversary DVD and HD-DVD releases.
