20th Century Fox Home Entertainment has officially announced they will be bringing the action comedy The Family to Blu-ray combo pack and DVD on December 17, 2013 The film stars Robert De Niro, Michelle Pfeiffer and Tommy Lee Jones. The film was Directed by Luc Besson and Executive Produced by Martin Scorsese. The Blu-ray will feature 1080p video in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio. Audio will be provided by aDTS-HD Master 5.1 track. A Mafia boss and his family are relocated to a sleepy town in France under the Witness Protection Program after snitching on the mob. Despite Agent Stansfield’s (Tommy Lee Jones) best efforts to keep them in line, Fred Blake (Robert De Niro), his wife Maggie (Michelle Pfeiffer), and their children Belle (Dianna Agron) and Warren (John D’Leo), can’t help resorting to old habits by handling their problems the “family” way.
