Yabba-Dabba Doo! Fred Flintstone turns out to be the creator of sports entertainment in this fun retro style animated movie. The run time of 51 minutes is just right and will keep the little ones entertained. The WWE Superstars are given Flintstone era names like John Cenastone and Daniel Bry-Rock. The animation style was a great choice as it looks like Flintstones episodes from nearly 60 years ago. If there is anything to pick at it would some of the Superstars are given scant screen time. Pick it up for the WWE fan in your family. 8/10
The Flintstones and WWE: Stone Age Smackdown arrives on Blu-ray with a 1080p transfer in the aspect ratio of 1.78:1 - Bold color choices in outfits pop off the screen with the backgrounds having the textured scratchy look of the vintage Flintstones animation style. Black levels were solid. The overall image is crisp and clear. No edge enhancement or digital tinkering was noticed. 8.5/10
Audio is provided by a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 track. - While the characters may be in the stone age the audio is without a doubt a modern track. Voices are crisp and clear. Surrounds kick in when there is some ring action. Bass performance was good but overly deep. No pops , cracks or hisses heard. 8/10
