HBO Home Entertainment have revealed their plans to release the hugely successful fantasy series Games of Thrones on Blu-ray March 6, 2012. The series is based on the wildly popular novels by George R. R. Martin Technical details aren't available at this time but will more than likely be presented with full 1080p in the original aspect ratio of 1.78:1. and accompanied with DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 track.
