Travel deep into the strange and mysterious with Paranormal Research Society (PRS) founder Ryan Buell and his team of investigators as they attempt to unravel inexplicable phenomena including sixth-sense experiences, ghost sightings, demonic disturbances, and brushes with the darkest areas of the unknown.
In Season Four, the PRS travels to New Jersey, where a couple believes spirits in their home are influencing their behavior; North Carolina, where the team attempts to stop the force allegedly causing violent outbursts in a 3-year-old girl, and northern Pennsylvania, where guests are fleeing a famous hotel due to frightening reports of paranormal activity.
Founded by Buell in 2001, the PRS works on cases across the country and is one of the most recognized paranormal societies in the nation. Through the use of Electronic Voice Phenomenon (EVP) recordings and video documentation, and with the help of renowned psychics, demonologists, psychologists and counselors, the PRS explores these bizarre cases in the hopes of helping frightened people who have nowhere else to turn.

Your enjoyment of the show will be based on whether you believe in the supernatural and spirits possibly among us. I somewhat enoyed watching the episodes and the young researchers enter spooky homes and towns and immerse themselves the people and families supposedly being terrorized by demons, ghosts, etc.
While I have never been a fan of watching people with night vision cameras go searching for bumps in the night, I'm also not completely against the thought that there truly is the possibility for evil to break through in depressed areas. The crew uses a lot of high tech equipment that most the time seems to be just for show. The show is not scary at all , but does provide some interestingly spooky looking locales form time to time. 6.5/10
"Paranormal State: The Complete Season Four" arrives on DVD with a 480i transfer in the original aspect ratio of 1.78:1. The video presentation is okay with decent color saturation and good black levels. The night vision camera scenes are a little muddy and filled with noise , but as whole are watchable.6.5/10
Audio is provided by a Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo track. A perfectly adequate track. Dialogue is the primary focus here and is crisp and clean throughout. Bumps in the night, creaking doors, and various effects were well represented with good fidelity.Overall a decent 7/10
